We can (weekend)

Yay to the end of prelims! I am so glad that prelims are finally over because now i can concentrate (kind of) on full fledged revision and that is good because i love OTOT stuff :-) How has everyone been? I hope that wherever you are in your life, it is good! Had a pretty mundane weekday this week because it was just exams -> prep for next day's paper -> exams -> prep for next day etc etc etc :-( But the weekend definitely made up for the mundane week and YES I think i had the sickest friday night in forever!!!! It was super fun and i had so much fun :-) I think i caught a glimpse of the end of As and well, i must say i am very very very excited.

M joined Cherie, Sam, kevin and I for dinner last friday!!! Surprise surprise ^_* We had dinner at TAG (Click!) I always thought the food was super meh.... and the price is unacceptable but I still went because Naomi was working cause it has been really long since i last saw her :-( SO yeap but the food was okay but not fantastic.... i guesss......

This were pictures from last week! M and I marked our 34th month last sunday and i met him after his tuition for food!! We wanted to eat thai food but i was still not feeling very well and hence, we settled for Genki instead!!!! Genki is like a go-to for cheap and (not too bad) sushi :-) My fav is sushi tei though!!!! It's a pity that it is not a everyday go-to because of the price....
Nonetheless, it did not matter where we went because the company was 10/10 and the good food was just a bonus :-)

Hung out with Joyce, Cherie, Bry, Kevin, Dylan and Sam on Friday night!!! It was really fun and enjoyable and i had so much fun :-) We first watched Sicario, which is basically a movie exposing the flaws of USA and exploitation, drug cartels, etc etc. It was really interesting and rotten tomatoes gave it really good reviews... However, I watched the movie and i didn't really like it THOUGH i understand why people would like it!! Generally, it just isn't my type of genre and i guess you have to have an interests and in depth knowledge on crimes and intelligence...

MOOOVIN on, we had dinner at Wings Bar (Click!) The ambience was really nice but same old story, it was overpriced... BOO @ singapore's inflation rates! >:( We ordered some buffalo wings, truffle fries and the boys gave in to temptation and got some burgers and meat after that. Joyce, cherie and I went to get ice cream from the turkey ice cream man (I THINK HES TURKISH) and it was really funny!!!

Initially wanted to go for some drinks after dinner at Chupitos, but because of some underaged children we had to go somewhere else instead... But i'm glad we did though because it was MUCH cheaper *reasonably priced... and the ambience was 10/10! it is just a really chill place called Sticky Fingers  (Click!) and we just chat and played some games which totes made me laugh!!! I really love them so much!!!

A fellow cherry that I am v thankful I met :-)

Basically Friday in a photo:

Went to M's house to chillax on saturday and that was enjoyable!!! Always a good time spent with Babe mil and i just ordered Mac bfast and really excited for it to come rn :-D Gonna meet jotham to study later at SGCC and hopefully M can come.... I think i am overly attached.... After that i am gonna meet shal and co for dinner @ nakhon hehehe so excited for that :-)

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY SEMI

How's everyone?? Seems like my commitment to blog is keeping up with circumstances :-) HAHAHA it is probably because i'm so sleepy now because of a lack of sleep last night but it's okay shall just clock in some words before I continue with whatever i am doing!!
It was Sam's 19th birthday yesterday! (9/11) went to habourfront after school with Kevin and Cherie to get sam's birthday present!! We initially wanted to get him a DW watch but later got convinced that the stakes were too high... because he might not like it after all.... so in the end we settled with some pieces of clothing from American Eagle and this cute little thing HAHHA that was rather overpriced that Cherie convinced us that we should get... Oh we got him a Nalgene bottle too because he had been hinting for one for the longest time.. hmm
Had dinner with Kevin and Cherie at BK (evidently, not Kevin's choice) and it was interesting to catch up with them about school and all that :-)

Above: Overpriced toy that we got HAHAHAHAHA but it was a must-have

Sam slept over at his friend's house the night before and hence, we had to meet at S'goon early the next morning to surprise him!! we got a matcha cake (that i just realized i didn't get to try :-( ) and waited for the rest at nex!!! everyone was late and M and I took lots of pictures :-D

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEMI (SAMMY) :-D

We had to take this really long walk into Sam's friends house and because I was wearing this long sleeved dress, no prizes for guesses about who perspired the most... The surprise was a success though and it was heartwarming to see everyone take a break from their busy schedule (amidst preparation for prelims etc) to celebrate a friend's birthday :-) <3

Semi was really hungover BUT HAPPY!!!!

Went over to Cherie's house after that and it was really N U A TTM hahaha but it was really fun :-) Studied whilst cherie and bryan napped and i gave in after bryan woke up HAHAHA and i slept for awhile... cherie's bed is really comfy i wonder why she doesn't sleep on it... HAHAHA had golden pillow for dinner with bryan and sam while cherie went for tuition and (tried to) watch some films after cherie came back but to no avail... i dont know how but we still managed to sleep at 6am, which explains my state of mind and sleepiness now :-(

I'm currently at M's house and we made avocado milkshake!!!! Ok fine he made it... it was so cute because i suggested to just study some place else instead but he was like huh but that means i can't show u the clothes i bought online (shan't elaborate what to save the embarrassment :-D) and make the avocado milkshake (that i bought the avocado for) for you... so i was like AWW and i followed him happily home and here i am now :-)

I don't know what i had possibly done to deserve you, gem. Don't feel discouraged and take heart, though this world has the tendency to lack spots fertile enough for bodies like yours to grow. The world doesn't deserve you M, you precious lil thing! :-)

Fun, Teachers' Day and the SEPT HOLS

Yo everyone!! it has been really long since i last wrote on here, and i only wish / hope that i will stop starting every blog post with the same sentences and phrases... HAHA or maybe it is a trademark of all my blog posts; like "oh my, it's been long since i last blogged, but let me just not blog for a few weeks/months and come back saying i'm sorry" ... :-) hahaha i will make the effort to blog i promise!!! Unfortunately, i am a victim of circumstance and my own laptop had broke since 3 weeks ago because of a virus attack and i am just so lazy to bring it to the servicing center because of the convenience of the school internet system and the courtesy of M :-)

My past days haven't been all that bad and it had been quite an enjoyable time in my absence here. I hope yall also had an equally entertaining and enjoyable time whilst I was gone (like it matters :") ) BUT, that's besides the point.

Caught mission impossible with M on Wednesday after his physics paper!! IT was a really good movie and the plot twists blowed our minds.. It was confusing and that made it captivating and not boring!! Really enjoyed it on a whole and I do recommend it J about an 8/10 I would say? The show was a lil draggy and I suspect there are flaws in the narrative of the movie… Hmm

Had dinner at a PHO shop opp macca house after the movie and it was HORRIBLE! IT WAS really bad pho because the pho to meat ratio was totally off and the MSG was bleh… PLS do not eat there guys… it is only the price that is reasonable but  nah, … just go to nam nam or smth! But I personally like SOPHO which is really good too! J

Teacher’s day!! It was just a much needed break from prelims and a true momentum breaker (just semi sarcastic there)… it was quite enjoyable though because I took lots of pictures with my friends and also had fun after that though it was nothing much! Studied in school for awhile with Jobro before having lunch with M and going to his place to study!! Had dinner at a Jap restaurant at cairnhill after that and it was really good though a tad bit on the pricer range L Went home after that and had a good night’s rest!

My not-as-close-anymore OG but still very precious people! So interesting and funny how life sorts itself out and out of everyone these are the people that I have met first in JC. Really thankful that I’ve met them because they gave me a positive impression of what SAJC was J and also, shout out to my first friend in SA that told me to come for orientation because it was the “best part of JC” and leaving me with good memories of fun during the OG period! You the real homie J

What is a special event without a picture with a special someone, right? M looks really cute as a farmer and I guess that opened up job prospects for him in the future? ;-) HAHAHA M is always really cute and shoutout to him for being the most understanding and kind person around!!! Thanks for always being there for me because I wouldn’t know what I would do without you <3 J J

REALLY????? 2 WATCHES?????

Went to study at paragon with Cher the next day but she left halfway and I was left alone to finish my essays before leaving L love studying in the more ~atas~ (whatever atas constitutes) end of town because there is lesser school going people there = better environment because everyone seems more contended and confident with who they are J it’s just a nicer vibe in general!! Met Cherie and all for dinner after that at gardens and had ice cream after too :-D it was indeed enjoyable and a good cooling off time for my saturated mind!
Had the intention to run today but I woke up considerably late and the sun was out and that just makes the environment unbae to run… Ah well, there’s tmr ;-)

A random quote that struck me a bit:
“Maybe in another lifetime,                                                                                     in a parallel universe, under different cirumstances.”

Right now I am studying with M at coffee bean and I guess we are leaving soon! See you guys soon and stay well and about in the meantime! Sending you all lots of love and strength! X
