gay straight white black, marriage is a civil right

here i am, not standing on the side of LGBT or anti-LGBT but i'm so so glad. I wonder if barak obama thinks of what the implications of his decisions are, not on the macro level of course, i am sure he thinks of that. but on the micro level.. the number of people that are gonna be blessed by this decision, countless of gay couples that have waited, some maybe far too long, others long enough. how many people will be thanking him -- how many others would now be able to walk down the streets without reeking of condemnation?

i am so happy. this is a historic moment and i feel is one of those where no one, NO ONE has the right to be a killjoy of. yes sure, one may bring their religious arguments or moral standings and put down this whole act but i guess you would never really truly understand the joy and weight of the situation unless u are one that is directly impacted by such a decision. how is one more married couple going to affect u in anyway? maybe before of putting down inputs and writing articles and articles on why you're anti-lgbt, maybe u can explore how ur act of doing so will contribute any positively to anyone out there at all.

love is love, and no one should be put down for who they choose to love. thinking of how much less hurt, shame, suicide cases that will be cut from this LGBT sphere just comforts my heart so much. of course, with this there will be a new hose of problems --- now that LGBT marriages are legal, i hope that it will not become like what's common these days, divorce etc. that would be sad. history wasn't made for something to be like the present.

love, love until it hurts, and when that happens, continue loving.

wow, it's week 4!

Oh my it is already week 4!!!!! I told u guys it would come!!! right from week 1 i have anticipated today.... this time of the holidays.. in which i will miss the holidays so much :( thank God i kind of expected it this year and hence did not waste my time so badly during the hols!! oh well, time you enjoy wasting isn't quite time wasted isn't it?

my week has been pretty fun and pleasant! week 3 was a blur, spent most of the time studying and i was also rather troubled over stuff. but it's okay now hehe thank God :-) :-) i've got to stop being so reckless in my decision-making...
I also wna delete my social media.. like my twitter etc because i watched this episode of criminal minds and it creeped/scared me out :/ it's bc of the way social media was being presented there and it got me thinking .. this blog doesn't really count bc not a lot of people know abt it anyway :D and it's impt for me to keep smth to note down my feelings and events... like what if i get into some freak event that causes me to lose my memories? or when i become famous??? someone has to have somewhere to turn to during these times!!!!!!!

Here's a random pic of baby mikelle and i that i found in my phone.. thought it was a nice pic so here it goes on this space:D

went to M's place to study and it was rather productive.. took lots of photobooth pictures but this shall suffice.. this was tuesday last week? i think. boy, time has flown past so quickly!! :O

Studied with sandra @ gateway on saturday and had dinner at SMU after. it was a good time w her as we talked about funny / stupid things, and things that make us laugh and cry. hahaha though sandra really annoys me sometimes she's still such a gem:) discovered (ok not really) some thrift shop after dinner and even though the shop owners seemed really really nice !!! we were so intimidated we didn't dare ask for prices.. oh well HAHA i'll definitely go back again! :-) the clothes there are so 80s and 90s, i really love it! lots of colour, shapes etc. I might get my prom dress (if i'm going for prom) there !

And this is a fine specimen! met M to study on wednesday (24/6/15) and we found a conducive spot at wheelock but we had to leave when we decided to give in to our tummies! had tori Q for lunch and studied at gateway after that and bumped into cherie and sheralyn!!! it was quite funny bc cherie acted like she didn't want me there but she obviously secretly did!

this was my outfit for wedneday and I really really like it! it's like a mix of material (much more obv in real life) bc the long sleeve shirt is like cotton-ish while the dress was silky kind of thing... it was quite interesting i thought! but my friends told me not to upload it on instagram bc i look funny... but WHO CARES!!!! i want to be funny. i just love this look, ofc the courtesy of M- cap, made the look 'more complete'. i don't even know what kind of look this is but i just absolutely love it! :-) and ofc ft chicken breast in lunch box!!!

met this bunch for dinner after that, but i didn't eat bc i wasn't feeling hungry!! they ate at some new jap bar place at kovan and i guess the ambiance was really nice? it was kind of humid at first but it slowly got better :-) seeing this bunch always cheers me up bc they're so funny and entertaining... i feel left out sometimes bc it's such a big clique.. i feel like i cant connect to EVERYONE all at the same time but i guess that's the beauty of it -- to find intimacy in a crowd; not easy but it's a beautiful feeling! elizabeth came yesterday too which was such a joy bc i haven't seen her since she chose to hibernate! :-)

I had such a lovely week and i'm ending it in an even lovelier way bc i'm meeting M for a movie tomorrow!! yay for rest days :-) enjoy what's left of the holidays and i'll be back soon! :-) :-) X

WEEK 2

Wew.... the holidays have passed by brilliantly quick!!! Just like i have expected it though so i'm glad i (kind of) made good use of it thus far!! Got to say week 2 of the holidays have been more of a rest and relax time and it sure was smth i really needed tbh :-)) had SEA lesson from monday-wednesday but i managed to cramp in some consultations here and there so that wasn't too bad.. with that said, my monday to wednesday had been somewhat gone to lessons... but on the positive side!!!!! i did my SEA revision during those lessons!!! :-) I think everyone needs their well-deserved break now and then... A's isn't until about 5-6 months from now- it is short yet long SO don't lose steam!!! Keep working, keep resting!!! I'll get there :-) And you too, if you're reading this

Anyway, here goes a review of what I did!

Participated in DIVA LA FUTBOL again this year! In my opinion, i think that this was a better experience than last year because it was just really about fun and games and we were much more prepared as a whole i guess? In a way we knew each other's styles better and all that making it easier for us to play with ea other!! :-) and also, i think the fact that we went out there to have fun makes all the difference really. We advanced thru the first round and got kicked out of the second... haha but the way in which we advanced was an improvement in itself! It was a fun day but that was only the beginning!!

Walked over to Ryan's house at abt 12+ and met Cherie, sam and him there!!!! Washed up and headed down the slope. We wanted to have Lola's instead and we COULD HAVE if not for their weekend policy of making pre bookings/reservations because we had wanted to that :'( SO by the time we went down, (true enough) it was so crowded and so we settled for Ice Edge Cafe (CLICK!) instead!! The food were not too bad and the prices were also very reasonable. The truffle fries there is also one of the best that i have tried, not kidding! The flavour was really rich throughout the whole plate, unlike yknow some that only has a good taste at the top... hate those!!!! I also shared a pizza with Joyce and that was good too though i can't really rmb its name.. OH the buffalo wings there is excellent too :-) it was all really worth it for the price!! 4/5 RECO!!!

Had the senior junior farewell match on monday (8/6/15) and it was really enjoyable with us playing our desired positions and just mainly having fun!!! After the match whilst we were all packing and wanting to wash up so that we could hurry go for the 'farewell party', the juniors started rushing out with lots of white and blue balloons w notes attached to the bottom of the strings!!!! it was so cute and adorable omg I was really shocked myself bc i thought the party wasn't starting til later on... imagine the looks on our faces!!! Choruses of "thank you" and "omg"!!! followed after, and that really touched my heart because I never imagined that they would do this... because I personally feel that myself (at least) are quite distant to the juniors as compared to my r/s (as of this period in the year) with my own seniors... and even then I don't recall doing any of this for them :0 I'm so thankful!!!

Went for the farewell after and i was famished and also disturbed because of the loud noises in the clubhouse :-(
1. I was famished because i hadn't had anything since 10!!! I met M for bfast at 10 and headed to sch to study before SEA at 12, after SEA which was 3 I had the farewell game and hence did not have time to touch the food...
2. I had loud noises because i think they are destroying my eardrums... I think loud noises can also account for why i'm shouting all the time.. bc my eardrums are already destroyed so i can't hear myself.. HAHA kidding!!!!!
So anyway, I settled no. 1 by eating 3 whole plates of food and settled no. 2 by sitting by the poolside with some of my team mates and played w helium!! They drank after that and i left at about 11?? It was one hell of an adventure home. Sent CQ home bc she was wasted as f and the uncle decided that mavis had to be sent back first bc of location!! I WAS LIKE :000000 bc i knew how far she lived... anyway!! to cut the long story short, googlemaps projected that the total cab fare of ZH, CQ and I would be $23 + surcharge, and the real price after we sent mavis off was??? $35!!!!! I hope that causes you to understand how far she lived and YOU to be appreciative of where you live... ha ha ha after sending her home... I was really quite glad i lived in a (relative to her) accessible place :-D

Alright, that's all from me even though that was only like half my week! But oh well hehehe hope everything's been good for everyone!!! can't wait for A's to be over so i can go to HK :-) X

6th year

the government is smart
real smart
back in the days
they used to burn books and papers
to block the information they dont want you to know

to censor it to delete it
and killed people who knew

to stop revolution

to block new ideas

to keep us under control

in the world we live in today,

we are over loaded with information

theres too much information

too much of useless information

everywhere

to make us feel as if

we have “the freedom of speech”

and the right “to know”

well the truth is
the government is smart
real smart

they knew how to control us

to trick us in to the false feeling of “freedom”

and gave us too much information

now its hard to figure out

which is important, which is not

because theres too much information

too much facts

too many varieties

so that the society breaks up

into a million individuals

and the media, the advertising, the society

tells people to be SELFISH

to be ALONE

to be YOURSELF

and to be in YOUR WORLD

everything is now YOU YOU YOU

its all about YOU

YOU are a star

its YOUR WORLD

YOU can have it for 15.99

is it YOURS

to stop communication

to stop revolution

by creating millions and millions of small revolutions

by creating millions of individuals

to break unity

to break conscienciousness

to break humanity.

so heres my contribution

The first week of June

Hello everyone that's possibly reading this space! :-) How has everyone been? I have been great, and i'm actually feeling real joyous recently. I am also feeling rather excited now because I smell sweet potatoes and chicken for dinner, which I can't wait to indulge in later! :-P tuition got cancelled today, so i guess i would be staying home the whole of the night to just read through things and revise. Shall do a recount on what happened this week!

Dinner @ Jotham's house for Nina's belated birthday celebration/gathering

Got to say it's one of the weirdest / funniest meet up or gathering, whatever you want to call it that i have EVER been... it was just filled with each pair in their own conversations in the beginning but it slowly got better. i guess it helped that M kinda knows Max and are on bro-ish terms with Djunarto... So it wasn't that weird for him! Glad that he had as much fun as I did and SO GLAD that Nina had a good birthday celebration/ gathering :-)
Jobro's dad made burgers and it was delicious! The patty was so rich with flavour and the potatoes were :-) :-) :-) to say the least. I really want to cut my carb intake but i really DONT KNOW where to start ??!?!?! I love carbs so much!!!

I went for my first LIVE football national level match on Monday- 1/6/15! Started June with a blast, literally.. HAHAHA it was kind of a funny story.. I have no idea why but i was under the impression that we were watching the girls' football match and I found out 3 seconds (LITERALLY) before the players assembled for the national anthem, etc that there are no girls SEA games for football.. I was so shocked and appalled i couldn't catch my breath. Anyway, I met sandra to study before that and we also went to Mustafa and it was indeed an eyeopener since i haven't been there in the longest of time. We also went for dinner at sweechoon after :-) the match was good but i thought both sides could have played better- in terms of skills/ composure for singapore, and attitude for philippines. I also thought the 12th men could also have been better audiences, i feel for the players :/ ah well

Left to right & up to down: 2/6/15, Football prize presentation (I am looking so endearingly at M whilst he's sulking :/), and Jobro's house; a selfie to Sam Teh and finally a day in school

Not bad, had been indulging in quite of bit of M recently, meeting up to study etc. Happy to say it had been really productive, and we sure motivate each other pretty well! No complaints there hehehe hopefully this motivation and drive will last through June :-)

Also met Kev for dinner yesterday and it was a good end to my active and eventful week! Had dinner at Bishan at this cafe called Ambush which I had and had a good impression of a few years ago (hahaha ikr...) but i wasn't really THAT hungry yesterday so i just had a brownie/ molten lava cake thing and it was good :-) I hope kev feels better soon though it's so sad to see him sad because he's so young and hence should be full of life :-(

Met Zhihui to study today and i must say, it was pretty productive!! Woodlands library is far too cold for a cardigan though :-(

Last thought before I end: I JUST REALIZED that M kind of looks like Cole Sprouse?? As in the face shape and structure etc etc :-0 that's just too adorable!!!!!!!
Thank you Jesus so much for such a productive week and may the rest of the June Holidays be as eventful (for me to have fun) and productive (in terms of good studying) as / if not more than this week!!! :--)
