Wew.... the holidays have passed by brilliantly quick!!! Just like i have expected it though so i'm glad i (kind of) made good use of it thus far!! Got to say week 2 of the holidays have been more of a rest and relax time and it sure was smth i really needed tbh :-)) had SEA lesson from monday-wednesday but i managed to cramp in some consultations here and there so that wasn't too bad.. with that said, my monday to wednesday had been somewhat gone to lessons... but on the positive side!!!!! i did my SEA revision during those lessons!!! :-) I think everyone needs their well-deserved break now and then... A's isn't until about 5-6 months from now- it is short yet long SO don't lose steam!!! Keep working, keep resting!!! I'll get there :-) And you too, if you're reading this
Anyway, here goes a review of what I did!
Participated in DIVA LA FUTBOL again this year! In my opinion, i think that this was a better experience than last year because it was just really about fun and games and we were much more prepared as a whole i guess? In a way we knew each other's styles better and all that making it easier for us to play with ea other!! :-) and also, i think the fact that we went out there to have fun makes all the difference really. We advanced thru the first round and got kicked out of the second... haha but the way in which we advanced was an improvement in itself! It was a fun day but that was only the beginning!!
Walked over to Ryan's house at abt 12+ and met Cherie, sam and him there!!!! Washed up and headed down the slope. We wanted to have Lola's instead and we COULD HAVE if not for their weekend policy of making pre bookings/reservations because we had wanted to that :'( SO by the time we went down, (true enough) it was so crowded and so we settled for Ice Edge Cafe (CLICK!) instead!! The food were not too bad and the prices were also very reasonable. The truffle fries there is also one of the best that i have tried, not kidding! The flavour was really rich throughout the whole plate, unlike yknow some that only has a good taste at the top... hate those!!!! I also shared a pizza with Joyce and that was good too though i can't really rmb its name.. OH the buffalo wings there is excellent too :-) it was all really worth it for the price!! 4/5 RECO!!!
Had the senior junior farewell match on monday (8/6/15) and it was really enjoyable with us playing our desired positions and just mainly having fun!!! After the match whilst we were all packing and wanting to wash up so that we could hurry go for the 'farewell party', the juniors started rushing out with lots of white and blue balloons w notes attached to the bottom of the strings!!!! it was so cute and adorable omg I was really shocked myself bc i thought the party wasn't starting til later on... imagine the looks on our faces!!! Choruses of "thank you" and "omg"!!! followed after, and that really touched my heart because I never imagined that they would do this... because I personally feel that myself (at least) are quite distant to the juniors as compared to my r/s (as of this period in the year) with my own seniors... and even then I don't recall doing any of this for them :0 I'm so thankful!!!
Went for the farewell after and i was famished and also disturbed because of the loud noises in the clubhouse :-(
1. I was famished because i hadn't had anything since 10!!! I met M for bfast at 10 and headed to sch to study before SEA at 12, after SEA which was 3 I had the farewell game and hence did not have time to touch the food...
2. I had loud noises because i think they are destroying my eardrums... I think loud noises can also account for why i'm shouting all the time.. bc my eardrums are already destroyed so i can't hear myself.. HAHA kidding!!!!!
So anyway, I settled no. 1 by eating 3 whole plates of food and settled no. 2 by sitting by the poolside with some of my team mates and played w helium!! They drank after that and i left at about 11?? It was one hell of an adventure home. Sent CQ home bc she was wasted as f and the uncle decided that mavis had to be sent back first bc of location!! I WAS LIKE :000000 bc i knew how far she lived... anyway!! to cut the long story short, googlemaps projected that the total cab fare of ZH, CQ and I would be $23 + surcharge, and the real price after we sent mavis off was??? $35!!!!! I hope that causes you to understand how far she lived and YOU to be appreciative of where you live... ha ha ha after sending her home... I was really quite glad i lived in a (relative to her) accessible place :-D
Alright, that's all from me even though that was only like half my week! But oh well hehehe hope everything's been good for everyone!!! can't wait for A's to be over so i can go to HK :-) X
